The protective properties of fullerene water secure its role as a marketable product in our world devoid of natural pureness. Perhaps, it is no coincidence that fullerenes were discovered at a point when humanity has approached the dangerous line. Damage of the ozone layer and environmental contamination present a real threat to our existence. Over the last decades, the biosphere in many regions of the Earth became dramatically different from the conditions in which the human body was formed over millions of years. Environmental contamination resulted in contamination of the inner environment. On top of that, the health of humans is dramatically degrading, and earlier unknown diseases have appeared. Many diseases have become more resistive to treatment and transform more readily to chronic forms. In this situation, it is critical that humans not only protect themselves from adverse factors but also adapt to them. Substances, which improve and speed up the process of adaptation to changing external conditions, are known as adaptogenes. Administration of adaptogenes makes it possible to overcome physical strain, oxygen insufficiency, the effect of toxic agents more easily, and it increases stress resistance.

The best known adaptogenes are ginseng, Mumiyo and Apilac. Apilac is produced from larval food produced by young bees for feeding the queen. Larval food or king jelly is the sole food the queen receives. After the atomic bombardments of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, research in the effect of different substances on human body recovery was conducted in Japan. Apilac was found to be the most effective product. Japan imports about two hundred thousand tons of Apilac annually. It is an essential part of nutrition of many Japanese, starting from childhood.

Preclinical studies in fullerene water tested its impact on the body’s capacity to adapt to high physical stress. Apilac was chosen as the reference drug. Studies were conducted for 45 days using the forced swimming model with an additional load. During the study, the animals had to fight for their lives daily: some of them drowned, some experienced ultimate physical and physiological stress. The prolonged stress resulted in an increasing size of the adrenal glands in the control group and in the group, which was administered apilac. The mass of the adrenal glands remained fixed in animals that drank fullerene water. Drinking fullerene water made the animals adapt to high loads and stress, and prevented development of hypertrophy of the adrenal cortex.

Fullerene water was found to have a pronounced adaptogenic effect. Daily administration of 1.8 mg/kg of apilac increased the physical stamina of animals by 17.9 %. Drinking 10 to 12 drops of fullerene water (1.8 ml/kg) increased their stamina by 31.4 %. Surprisingly, fullerene water turned out to be a more powerful adaptogene than apilac is. Taking into account that practically all people now have a degraded adaptation capability and functional reserve, fullerene water offers the option of being healthy in our technogenic world. Fullerene water is recommended for all those who want to improve their adaptation capabilities, and increase their work capacity and tolerance. It is no secret that today’s reality, focused to survival, has a severe effect on the human psyche. Chronic nervous overstrain entails various diseases. Fullerene water eliminates the consequences of such overloads and stress. It is good for those who permanently experience high physico-emotional or physical stress.
